Before accepting a position at a Fortune 500 company as a Social Media Strategist for recruiting, Carolyn owned and operated C Designs, Inc., a boutique agency in Denver, for over 20 years. She has almost 30 years of experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, art direction and brand management.


Starting from scratch, with a mere $1200 in the bank, Carolyn grew an agency to a million dollars in billing within the first two years.  The agency successfully provided marketing and advertising services for B2B and B2C clients. Client work included manufacturing, health care, golf sportswear, home design, entertainment, the arts and artists, associations, real estate and financial planning, nonprofits, and radio broadcast media.


Carolyn holds a BA in Communication and Women’s studies and a Dual Master of Arts degree from the University of Denver in International/Intercultural Communications with an emphasis on Digital Marketing and Public Relations. She leveraged many years of experience as an entrepreneur successfully planning and executing social media marketing, web design and analytics, writing and training. Although originally from Oklahoma, she has lived in Colorado for over 30 years where her parents, children and grandchildren reside.  Her mother was a career woman long before women chose that path, and all while raising ten children – she was a true inspiration!
